5. Screw the connector (7) onto the water jet unit/the head piece
(16) and screw the water jet unit onto the connection (2) of the
motion detector.
6. Fully stick the ground spike at the desired location in the
vicinity of the pond into the soil.
7. Connect a water supply which is permanently under pressure,
e.g. a garden hose, to the water connection (10) of the ground
spike (11).
If you want to cascade several devices, use the water connec-
tion of the ground spike that is closed with a dummy plug (8).
8. Use the sensitivity regulator (3) to adjust the sensitivity of the
motion detector. Furthermore this regulator is used to switch
on and off the device. Switch it to "0" to switch off the device.
9. Use the inching switch (6) on the top side of the water jet unit
to adjust the characteristics of the water jet. The range/the
distance of the water jet are controlled by the input water
pressure at the water connection (10).
When the motion detector detects motion within its "field of
view", the device automatically is put into operation. The water
jet sprays pulsative onto the target region.
The water jet rotates within an angle of 100°. It has an operat-
ing distance of approx. 10 m. This results in coverage of
approx. 30 m².
5 seconds later the water jet is switched off automatically
again.
Notes:
 According to factory-made functional tests, residual humidity
can remain in the unit. Residual humidity in a new article is not
a fault.
 Close proximity to strong transmitters may cause malfunctions
of the motion detector. Strong transmitters can be e.g. amateur
