Focus control

If the lens "slips" too much when releasing the focus control at high speed, it is possible to slow down the focus control, by doing the

following:

Set the maximum focus speed (3)

Push simultaneously LV (8) and ZOOM (6) button: LEDs (12-13) blink

Push the LV button (8) to slow down

Push the zoom+ button (6) to speed up. There are 7 values available (7=maximum and is set as default)

To check the result, move the focus (2)

To record the new value, push simultaneously LV (8) and Zoom (6) button

The Remote Control will automatically save settings for different lens and camera configurations.

Each time a different camera-lens configuration is connected, the appropriate settings will be applied.

For Single shot press the REC/Shutter button once. Push and hold the REC/Shutter button for more than 2 seconds to activate continuous

shooting.

To switch from photo to video and from video to photo mode double click the REC/shutter button.

During set-up, pay attention to how the USB cable connector is plugged into the 'out' port of the remote control.

Page 2 If any of the advanced AF servo functions, i.e. [Continuous AF] or [Movie Servo AF], are set to [Enable], it could interfere with the remote focus control, resulting in unexpected behaviour; The recommended setting for use with the Manfrotto remote control, is [AF Method] set to [FlexiZoneAF-Single] [Continuous AF] and [Movie Servo AF] set to [Disable] Please refer to the camera user manual to configure these options.
