Note:
Pressing the radio Push-To-Talk button will
temporarily disable VOX operation.
Communication can continue using the radio
microphone and the radio Push-To-Talk
button.
8. To re-select VOX operation, turn the radio
OFF and repeat the set up procedure
Steps 1 to 6.
Push To Talk (PTT) Operation:
1. Always switch the radio OFF before
connecting the noise-com unit.
2. Attach the audio connector to the radio taking
care not to over tighten the fixing screw.
3. Switch the radio ON - care should be taken
not to set the volume level too loud.
4. Press the noise-com Push-To-Talk button and
speak into the noise-com microphone

communication is working.
5. Adjust the noise-com speaker audio level
using the radio volume control.
6. Always switch the radio OFF before removing
the noise-com unit.
Removing the noise-com unit from the ear
protector
1. Always switch the radio OFF before removing
the noise-com unit.
2. Turn the complete unit 90
in the ear protector.
3. Remove it carefully from the ear protector.
