In the event of non-compliance with warnings, serious injury may result.
• Non-compliance with warning instructions or symbols on the device may result in
serious injury and damage to property.
• Non-compliance with the operating instructions may result in injury and could
damage the device.
• The device must be switched off if you leave the house for an extended period of
time.
• If a full or partially filled device is switched off for an extended period of time, the
contents decompose and start to smell.
• If the device cable or plug is damaged, the damaged part must be replaced with a
new one before using again. ELECTROCUTION HAZARD
• The device must be disconnected from the main supply before intervening on the
device or its parts.
• The device must only be opened or repaired by the authorised Customer Service.
Otherwise, any guarantee or warranty may be void.
• The device must be connected to a 230V~50Hz laid, fixed grounding type plug.
• The plug must be easy to access so that it may be removed in an emergency.
Extension cables should not be used.
• Fill the container (B) with a maximum of 1 kg of waste and/or up to the maximum
volume mark inside the container. Overfilling the container may damage the device.
If the device is switched off manually during a drying process, container and carry
handle are very hot. Do not touch these parts until they have cooled down.
• Ensure there are no hard objects (glass, metal, stones) in the container. This may
damage the device.
• Never glue the ventilation slots in the container lid (C) and on the device.
• Keep the device in a permanent location wherever possible and never move the
device when in use.
• Do not place the device near heating appliances.
• Never put inflammable materials, hot water or oil in the container.
• Never open the device container lid when in use.
• Always remove the cable by holding the plug and always with dry hands.
• Never touch the plug if wet or damp.
