When the unit is configured for the PLAR mode, the ringing duration is
programmable and can be set to 10 sec, 20 sec, 60 sec or "indefinite".

Test features

The unit has built-in signaling test features that allow sending a specific, user-
selectable signaling condition to the far-end unit and/or to the local drop
equipment. The list of available signaling conditions depends on the unit's mode
of operation (loop-start, ground-start or PLAR signaling).
The unit supports Line (remote) and Local loopbacks that can be enabled
through the software.
