e) Setting the thermocouple type

A short press on the DOWN (5) indicates the thermocouple type setting.

To change the sensor type, press the ENTER (7) until MODE appears on the display and then press the DOWN (5)
repeatedly until the desired sensor type is selected. Press ENTER (7) to confirm until MODE is no longer displayed.

f) Setting the thermocouple offset

A short press on the DOWN (5) indicates the offset setting.

To change the offset in probe type setting mode, press and hold the ENTER (7) until MODE appears on the display.
Now the value can be changed by -0.1 by briefly pressing the DOWN (5) and by -1.0 by pressing and holding it down.
The value is reduced to 5.0 and then jumps to 5.0 and can be reduced to 0.0. To confirm, press the ENTER (7) until
MODE is no longer displayed.
