Using the Notebook PC

Additional Battery Pack (Optional)

Flip the Notebook PC over to access the underside. The left side is a combination module bay and
battery bay and the right side is a permanent battery bay. Follow these instructions for inserting an
additional battery pack.

Remove module drive
Slide and hold the drive lock (arrow 1). While
holding drive lock (arrow 1), slide the eject
mechanism (arrow 2) forcefully until the drive
ejects. Pull the drive module out (arrow 3).

Remove module drive adapter
To use the battery bay on the left side, the mod-
ule drive adapter must be removed by sliding
and holding latch (arrow 1) and then pulling
the module drive adapter out (arrow 2).
Insert Additional Battery Pack
Insert the additional battery pack just like you
would with the main battery pack (arrow 3).
NOTE: Both the main battery and additional
battery packs have the same specifications.
