Do not short the terminals.
Do not place battery on or near equipment which vibrates excessively.
In case of battery leakage wash all parts which have come into contact with leaked
liquid immediately.
Do not expose battery to infrared or ultraviolet rays excessively.
Do not pierce, crush, disassemble or open the battery as leaked liquid could catch
fire, explode or release dangerous substances.
Keep the battery charger connected to the battery only if the charger is powered.
The battery charges correctly if charging is carried out at a temperature between
0°C and 40°C. For charging at any other temperature, please contact Kasco.

Do not use expired filters even if their seals are still intact.
Do not use filters for more than three months.

Return to fresh, clean air immediately and take OFF helmet if:
a) Leakage is detected by smell, taste or eye, nose or throat irritation.
b) Inhaled air becomes extremely hot.
c) Any feeling of nausea, dizziness or ill being develops.
7.6
THE RESPIRATOR WILL NOT FURNISH BREATHING PROTECTION UNLESS
BLOWER UNITS WHICH DRAW IN AIR THROUGH THE FILTER/S ARE
FUNCTIONING. OXYGEN WILL BE ABSORBED RAPIDLY AND THE CARBON
DIOXYDE CONCENTRATION PRODUCED WITH BREATHING WOULD EXCEED
THE TLV LIMITS.

Never alter or modify this respirator in any way.

This equipment is to be used only by qualified personnel who has been trained on
The use and maintenance of Respiratory Protective Devices and who is aware of
their technical and legal limits.

Do not use the respirator if your sense of smell is in any way impaired.
7.10 Do not use the respirator if it has not been serviced annually by a Kasco authorized
service centre.
8. REPAIRS
8.1.
Use only genuine KASCO spares.
8.2.
Should you require technical assistance please fill out the form on our website and
possibly include the following information : Respirator type – Serial number – Retailer name
– Problem experienced – Hazard type and concentration – Type of filter used – Frequency
of usage– A job description if useful to identifying the problem.

MARKINGS
The CE mark certifies compliance with the essential health and safety
requirements in Annex II of Regulation (EU) 2016/425. The number 0426
after EC identifies the Notified Body ITALCERT control institute of the
finished product in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425.

10 TRANSPORT
The powered respirator is to be kept in its original packaging during transport.
11. STORAGE
Store powered respirators and filters in their original packaging at a temperature
between 0°C and +40°C and a humidity lower than 80%.
12. WARNING
12.1 BEFORE USE CHECK THAT PRODUCT CODE NUMBERS, TYPE AND
QUANTITY OF SUB ASSEMBLIES CORRESPOND TO THOSE LISTED ON THE
RESPIRATOR COMPOSITION CHART.
12.2
Kasco retains any type of warranty forfeited on the instant and declines any liability
either direct or indirect should our Use and Maintenance instructions not be adhered
to and should filters and spares other than genuine Kasco filters and spare be used.
12.3 The liability for the proper operation of the respirator is irrevocably transferred to the
respirator purchaser or operator if:
a)
the prescribed maintenance is not carried out and/or repairs and maintenance
are carried out on the respirator Sby personnel not employed by or service
centres not authorized by KASCO.
b)
the respirator is used in a manner not conforming to its intended use as specified
in the relative product certification/approval.
12.4 IMPORTANT:
Adhere strictly to all instructions, labels and limitations pertaining to this equipment. If
instructions and warning are not adhered to at all times, respirator effectiveness will
diminish and wearer protection will be reduced.
