3.1 Bootable function

The ARCFlash provides a particular bootable function. You can use the ARCFlash as a startup disk for your PC to boot the system. However, your
BIOS on the main board must support the "USB-ZIP" or "USB-HDD" boot up feature.
Follow the steps shown below.
1) After pluging in the ARCFlash into the computer, run "M-Format.exe".
Notice:
Choose the "USB-ZIP type" option and the ARCFlash will become the USB-ZIP startup disk or choose the "USB-HDD
type" option and the ARCFlash will become the USB-HDD startup disk.
2) Click "Execute". The warning message below will appear. Please make sure that the files of the ARCFlash have been backedup. Then, click
"OK" to create the startup disk.
3) The window below should appear when the bootable disk is completed.
Notice:
The bootable function can only be used with motherboards that support either USB-ZIP or USB-HDD bootable functions
in the BIOS system.
Please read the motherboard user's manual to set the "first boot" option to "USB-HDD" or "USB-ZIP".
