Delivery in cold:
(1) For the positive rooms (with products not to be set)
-rehabilitation (end defrost or limiter) cold with frosting (1 min) to avoid water.
-ventilation road rehabilitation.
(2) For the negative or positive rooms with products packaged or hydrophilic.
-draining (3-4 mn) for equipment cooling of resistors.
- remission in cold with ventilation.
 Hot gas defrost
If the unit must be used with a hot gas defrost, Profroid must be informed before manufacturing in order to implement on the unit
provisions specific to the chosen hot gas defrost system.
CHECKS OF THE DEFROST FUNCTIONING FOR SECONDARY COOLING FLUID VERSIONS
In the case of air and electric heaters defrosting, ensure that the power of the cooling fluid is stopped in addition to the listed
sequences.
In case of a defrost by loop heating, ensure to circulate the hot fluid in the same direction as the cold fluid.

RECOMMENDATIONS
If extended the facility, to turn the engines of the fans at least two hours per week.
It is recommended to check periodically in a Visual manner:
-Fouling and icing of the battery,
-The operation of fans,
-The position of the propeller in the ferrules
-The possible displacement of resistances.
-The State of each propeller (clamping on shaft, mechanical condition of the pale etc...),
- The flow of water (siphon).
No manipulation on the fan units, or drain pans should be done without an exclusion zone on the ground, to avoid the
presence of personel.
It is important to ensure that the hinge mechanisms are operational before all manipulations.
In general, at the opening of the movable panels it is necessary to accompany them or slow their opening speed to avoid
casing deformations.
NETTOYAGE
The cleaning of coil must be :
- with compressoried air
- with a brushing without metallic elements,
- with water (3 bars maxi at 1,5 m). Don't project water on motors.
In case of anti-corrosion trated coil, refer to the protection providers that can be also requested to Profroid.
REPLACEMENT OF A FAN
This operation should be performed when the power supply is cut off (logging).
At this condition only access to the engines is allowed.
In a replacement fan motor, it will take care in reassembling lead purge holes, so that the condensate could to evacuate.
REPLACEMENT OF A RESISTANCE
When failing resistance is detected, its replacement must be carried out as quickly as possible.
Where the star point is not connected, there is risk of deterioration of other resistors.
This operation should be performed when the power supply is cut off (logging).
Extract the failing resistance and set new strength with clips.
