Proper handling of batteries
❐ Before inserting the battery, check whether the contacts
in the battery compartment and on the battery are clean
and, if necessary, clean them.
❐ Only use the battery type specifi ed in the technical data
(see section "Technical data").
❐ When changing battery ensure correct polarity (+/-).
❐ Remove the battery from the battery compartment if they
is empty or if you are not using the product for an extend-
ed period. This way, you can avoid damages attributed
to leaking.
❐ If a battery has leaked, avoid contact between your skin,
eyes and mucous membranes and the battery acid. In the
event of contact with the battery acid, rinse the affected
areas instantly with plenty of clean water and immediately
consult a physician.
❐ Immediately remove any leaking battery from the battery
compartment. Clean the contacts before you insert a new
battery.
❐ The battery may not be charged or reactivated with other
means and they may not be disassembled, thrown in a
fi re, submerged in a liquid or short-circuited.
Proper handling of the product
❐ The light must not be used for direct irradiation of people,
animals or plants.
❐ Do not disassemble the product (except for changing the
battery). Only have the product repaired by a qualifi ed
workshop or by customer service.
❐ Do not place any covers (e.g. cloths or the like) over the
light. Otherwise a fi re could result.
