opens for few seconds and with long intervals. The light 3 starts lighting and the intensity is
directly proportional to the production.
Switch-off the humidifier, disconnect the screws 1 & 2 of the electronic card and connect the
humidistat: verify the correct work of the humidistat. Disconnect the screws 4 & 5, connect the
airflow interlock and verify; if the air duct fan stops, the humidifier stops the production.

7. Troubleshooting list

A. When switched on, the 1 "machine on" signal does not come on
a. Check that there is voltage at the power supply terminals
b. Check that the power fuses are correctly positioned
c. Check that the transformer primary fuse F is correctly positioned
d. Check that the lid of the electrical part of the humidifier is well fixed and keeps the "lid
closed" microswitch energized
e. Check that the "machine on" switch is pressed.
B. When turned on, the water supply solenoid valve does not fill with water
a. Verify that the power supply circuit is open
b. Check that the filter is not clogged
c. Check that the + 12Vdc voltage reaches the solenoid valve
d. After having closed the water supply tap and disconnected the voltage, open the solenoid
valve, unscrewing the three head screws and after having removed all the components,
clean the two existing small holes (about 1/2 mm in diameter) on the rubber membrane.
Carefully reassemble the solenoid valve.
e. If the check takes place only after replacing a boiler: check that the supply passage inside
the boiler itself has been perforated.
C. Once the water has been changed, the machine continues to fill with water, keeping the 4
"water change" signal lit. This process takes a few minutes. Subsequently, the machine stops
loading water and starts producing normally, while keeping signal 4 on. All this indicates that
the water change was not carried out correctly.
a. Check that the water load is efficient: filters clogged, water opening not complete, etc.
b. Check that the siphon drain is not blocked:
c. Disconnect the power, open the cap and evacuate any obstructions
D. During operation, the humidifier very often signals that it is overproduction (signal 5 on) and
proceeds to a change of water.
a. Check that potentiometer P5 is correctly positioned and in any case turn it clockwise
b. Reduce the humidistat request by turning the P2 potentiometer counter clockwise
E. During operation, the humidifier charges the vertical tube of the siphon 7 of exploded view Q
with water
a. Reduce the humidistat request (P2) and manually empty the transparent tube
