Please note, the base is very heavy and needs to be unpacked as near to it's final location as possible. Very carefully
remove the base and stem unit from the carton. There is an MDF packing board on top of the stem which needs
to be removed (see Step Two). To avoid scratches and possible damage carry out all steps on a clean, soft surface
such as a rug or large cloth. With 2 people, carefully tip the table to one side onto a soft surface. Use the allen (C)
key to gently loosen each of the 8 screws by 1 turn only (turn in anticlockwise direction). This helps to prepare for
fixing the glass top in Step Four.

To remove the top MDF packing board, hold the wing nuts and unscrew the allen bolts. Then lift off the MDF
packing board from the top of the base.
