Grease hose guide chain and bearings

The hose guide chain and the bearing blocks of the drum should be lubricated at least
once a year, for the chain use e.g. spray grease and for the bearing blocks ball-bearing
grease.

Remove the rear plate by loosening the six bolts, then spray the hose guide chain as
indicated, while turning the drum manually until the chain has been completely lubricated.
Use a grease gun to spray some grease into the bearing blocks and remove excess
grease with a cloth.
Mount the rear plate and fasten it again with the six bolts before the reel is put into
operation.
9.4

Handlebar pull handle and locking clip

The hinged parts of the handlebar pull handle and the locking clip must be lubricated at
least once a year with e.g. spray grease. Spray this grease as illustrated below and
remove excess grease with a cloth.
