AXB-MPE+ Dual and Single Master Port Expanders

The AXB-MPE+ Dual and Single Master Port Expanders (FIG. 1) are AXCESS Control Systems
that are equipped with 12 AXlink ports that can control multiple audiovisual and lighting device up
to 3,000 feet from the control system. With the AXCESS programming software, you program the
AXC-EM cards, housed in the AXB-MPE+, to control the devices. The AXB-MPE+ Dual Master
Port Expander comes with two AXC-EM cards: the first card is the main processor and the second
is the stand-by processor. If a problem occurs with the first card, the AXB-MPE+ automatically
switches to the second card without disrupting service.
