ESD Measures
To prevent damage when you work with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) sensitive parts, perform the following:
Before starting any BDP Unit Assembly repair, check the working space to ensure it meets ESD requirements.
Use caution when handling the ESD-resistance of the BD Laser. The BD laser is more fragile than a DVD/CD laser.
Ensure anyone repairing the BDP Unit Assembly follows all safety guidelines.
