Operating Instructions
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USING.
SWITCH ON
Turn on the power and attach the safety key to the monitor.
The WEIGHT window will show. Enter your bodyweight using
FAST/SLOW and confirm with SET.
The console is now in stand-by mode.
Note that the machine does not work and no data will be dis-
played without the safety key attached. Please clip the other
end of the safety key to the user before exercising to ensure
the machine will stop in case the user accidentally runs off the
treadmill. Should that happen, the safety key will be cut off
the monitor and the treadmill will stop at once to avoid further
injury
MANUAL
Press START and the treadmill will slowly start at 1 km/h.
Use FAST/SLOW keys to control speed, and UP/DOWN to
adjust the incline, or use the SPEED/INCLINE HOT keys.
Press STOP to pause the exercise, then press START to
continue, or press STOP to end the exercise.
COUNT-DOWN PROGRAM
In standby mode press SET to clear the console. Press SET
again, TIME window will show.
Program the exercise time using FAST/SLOW/SET.
Press SET again to program exercise DISTANCE.
Press START to begin the exercise.

HRC PROGRAM

In standby mode press SET 5 times. PULSE will show.
Program Target Heart Rate (THR) using FAST/SLOW and
press SET to confirm.
Press START to begin exercising, or press SET again to enter
desired exercise time or distance, and then press START.
Apply optional chest strap (moisten slightly the contacts of the
strap).
Your current heart rate will be displayed within 30 seconds up
to one minute.
The treadmill will adjust the speed gradually until THR (+/- 10
BPM) is reached. In case the THR is exceeded, the treadmill
will automatically reduce speed until THR is reached again.
The speed limit in HRC program is 6 km/h.
For HR training the use of a wireless chest belt is com-
pulsory. A steady and strong signal is required.
PREPROGRAMMED RUNS
Select a preprogrammed run by pressing PROGRAM key.
Press START to begin the exercise.
In Program Mode only the START/STOP keys remain active.
Program mode will not function if the treadmill is positioned
in an incline position > 16%.
Your computer is compatible with the optional
chest transmitter (ref 20073), for integrated wire-
less heart rate registration.

Heart rate displayed is a random indication and
cannot be used as guidance in any cardio-vascu-
lar related medical or paramedical program.
Calorie value used in this program represents
an approximate calorie burn. This value strictly
is a random indication and cannot be used as
standard reference.

period of time and/or to avoid health risk, you
should consult your general physician before star-
ting any exercise.
