3. How to set the environments for connecting OPC
<8> Click <Add...> on "Access Permission" window.
Add "Everyone" to [Group or user names].
Like the right figure, Select "Everyone" on
"Access Permission" tab to permit "Remote
Access".
Set it so that "Local Access" and "Remote
Access" become a check state.
Click <OK>.
When a list of [Group or user names] does not
have "Administrators", you add it same as above
<4> - <5>.
<9> Select the "Identify" tab in the "TOSHIBA TC-net
OPC Data Access Server Properties" window
and select "The interactive user" and click
<OK>.
Close "Component Services"
Important:
On "Identify", you must select "The interactive user".
If you select other user, OPC Server doesn't run normally.

3.2. Security Setting

Logon to Windows XP Professional or later from other computers is done as a Guest user.
In addition, logon to Windows XP Professional from users without a password is not allowed.
Therefore, to make a remote connection to OPC server, the above security setting must be
changed.
How to change the setting is as follows.
To change the setting, it is necessary to log on as a user with Administrator privilege.
This Setting is on both of OPC Server and OPC Client
