2.2. Flammable gases detector (DEX CAN transmitter)

To perform a correct calibration of a flammable gases detector you need :
1. A calibration gas cylinder (concentration between 1/3 and 2/3 of measuring range);
2. A pressure reducer with flowmeter;
3. An injection nozzle;
4. A Teflon or polyurethane flexible hose (Ø 7mm);
5. A voltmeter;
6. A measurement plug (pitch = 2.54mm);
7. An insulated flat screwdriver (width 3.5mm).
To get the injection nozzle or the measurement plug please contact Dalemans.
For applying gas to the detector, the flexible hose has to be plugged at one end to the cylinder flowmeter, and at
the other end to the injection nozzle. The injection nozzle must be fitted in the detection head opening (

To perform calibration always proceed in the following order :
1. Set the operating voltage of the cell;
2. Set the zero of DEX CAN (Zeroing);
3. Adjust sensibility of DEX CAN (Gain).
