Questions and answers
I removed the release valve on my 56789 Jack. But I can't put it back. The tip hits something before that threads engage. What do I do
If the tip of the release valve hits something before the threads engage, it may be misaligned. To properly reattach the release valve:
1. Ensure the jack is not under load and is fully lowered.
2. Inspect the threads on both the release valve and the housing for damage or debris.
3. Align the valve carefully and attempt to thread it by hand to avoid cross-threading.
4. If resistance is felt before the threads engage, stop and realign.
5. Do not force the valve; repeated misalignment may damage threads.
If the valve still cannot be reattached, have a qualified technician inspect and repair the jack.
