You will need six AA size alkaline batteries.
Lithium batteries must not be used for the
Twinguard. Please use only batteries from the
manufacturers Panasonic or Duracell. Please
carry out a test alarm after each battery
change, either via the Bosch Twinguard App or
by pressing the control button on the device
itself, in order to ensure that your smoke alarm
device functions properly.
To attach the Bosch Smart Home Twinguard,
use the supplied dowels and screws. For more
information, refer to the instruction manual. The
Twinguard is not intended for adhesive
mounting.
The air quality sensor must calibrate itself once.
After initial installation, the air quality sensor
takes up to two hours to perform initial
measurements. Within the first 48 hours after
commissioning, a recalibration is carried out in
order to optimise the quality of the recorded
data. Please note that after about 20 minutes
you should either refresh the screen or start the
app again so that the current data is displayed.
You can "move" a Twinguard from one room to
another. When disassembling or assembling
the hardware, please follow the instructions in
the operating manual. To ensure both the
predefined optimum air quality ranges and the
correct detector sensitivity in the event of a fire
in the new room, please carry out the following
steps in your Bosch Twinguard App:
1.) Remove the Twinguard from the app that
you want to install in another room
2).) Reset the detector to factory settings.3).
Note: If you move to a new room, you will lose
the history of the air quality data of the previous
room. The room can easily be renamed at any
time directly in the Bosch Twinguard App.
As a smoke alarm and air quality sensor, the
Twinguard has various setting options that are
specified by the manufacturer and designed for
