Things worth knowing about Coffee

For preparing a good, aromatic coffee it is important to make sure that coffee
is ground to coarseness which suites to the appropriate coffeemaker.
If the coffee is ground too fine, the coffee will be too strong and rather bitter
while a grind which is too coarse will produce thin, watery coffee.
Coffee powder, which is ground too coarsely, will not be extracted well and
the water will pass through it too fast.
If the coffee is ground too fine, the water will be in the coffee powder for too
long and the coffee will be over extracted and taste bitter.
Coffee ground too fine may also block the filter; the water may not flow
through the filter, but may flow around the filter without passing through the
coffee.
For a small cup of coffee count about 4 gram of grist.
