Optional mSATA Manual
Manual instructs how to modify faytech fay-002 mainboard for mSATA option. We advise you notify
faytech about the required mSATA during the ordering process.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: faytech Tech. Co., Ltd. strongly recommends you to send the mainboard to faytech
Tech. Co., Ltd for modification of optional mSATA. Any self attempted modifications will immediately
terminate the warranty of the product. Proceed at your own risk. faytech Tech. Co., Ltd. bears no
responsibility for any damage done to the product by following the instructions provided below.
STEP 1: Remove 15k Ohm resistor from WLR3.
STEP 2: Remove resistor from WLR4.
STEP 3: On the solder side, please remove 4 pieces of 0 Ohm resistors and keep these 4 resistors for Step 4.
