GETAC S410 DOCKING STATION
This instruction sheet is for the Getac S410 docking station only. For instructions on
features, set-up, and operation of the S410 computer, please refer to the manual
provided by Getac with the computer.
This docking station is designed to be used with a variety of Gamber-Johnson mounting
systems. Installation instructions for other Gamber-Johnson products are provided with
each individual product.
This instruction sheet is for the following products:
Item No. 7160-0790-00 No RF (External Power Supply & its bracket sold separately)
Item No. 7160-0790-03 Tri RF (External Power Supply & its bracket sold separately)
Getac recommends using the following Power Adapters to power the docking station. They
can be ordered from Gamber-Johnson seperately.
7300-0471 - Auto
KIT 7170-0536 (Non-RF) or 7170-0537 (Tri-RF)
7300-0413 - Isolated (12-32 Vdc input)
7300-0412 - Isolated (20-60 Vdc input)
7300-0416 - Isolated (72-110 Vdc input)

PRE-INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS Conduct a "Bench Test" Gamber-Johnson strongly advises a "bench test" be conducted to verify all electronic and software issues are resolved prior to installation: Make sure the computer is operational by itself. DOCKING THE COMPUTER TO DOCK THE COMPUTER 1. Insert the back of the S410 computer such that the rear hooks enter the rear pockets of the laptop 2. Lower the front of the computer down on the dock and docking connector 3. - Page 6 Screen Support Installation Screen supports are recommended on all laptop dock/cradles in high-vibration environments. (1) screen support is included with each Getac S410 assembly, another may be purchased from www.GamberJohnson.com. Part Number: 7110-1206 Screen Support Mounting Locations Use supplied #6-32 screws to attach included screen support to the left or right mounting location, do not over-torque screws.
