This setting emphasizes the
extremes to get the dancing bodies
really moving.

Proximity Effect
This curve mimics the aural
phenomenon that the closer a
listener is to a sound source, the
more the bass is emphasized.
Note for programs 9-12
The next four programs have the Link function turned off, so each channel is doing
something different. Each of these programs has two charts listed below, an "a" chart and a
"b" chart.

Link=Off. Feed a kick drum into
Channel A for thump, beater tap,
and to reduce hollowness.

Link=Off. Ch. B reduces low end to
separate the snare and kick and also
reduces hollowness.
10a
Link=Off. General setting for bass
guitar--make adjustments as needed.
10b
Link=Off. Ballpark setting for
acoustic guitar--adjust as needed.
11a
Lows reduced to avoid rumble, high-
end emphasized for intelligibility.
