Chapter One:
To verify, change, or disable any network connection, follow these steps:
1.
To verify the type of network you're connected to, do the following:
a.
Tap the Network icon on the status bar.
b.
Review the information offered.
2.
If you find you're connected to a cellular data network and you want to
disable this feature temporarily
a.
Tap Verizon Wireless, as shown in Figure 1-16.

To access settings for any network type,
tap the network name.
b.
Tap Wi-Fi.
c.
In the right pane of Wireless & Networks, tap Mobile Networks.
d.
Tap Data Enabled.
e.
Tap the Home button.
3.
If you find you're connected to a Wi-Fi network and you want to disable
this feature temporarily
a.
Tap the Wi-Fi network's name.
b.
In the right pane of Wireless & Networks, tap Wi-Fi (to turn
off Wi-Fi).
c.
Tap the Home button.
