Troubleshooting
○Please check the following
Symptom
・ The touch panel screen does
not display anything.
・ The touch panel does not
respond when operating. It will
not light up or heat up.
・ Takes a longer time to boil than
usual.
In case of the following symptoms...
●The power cable or plug becomes abnormally hot.
●The power goes on and off when the power cable is bent.
●There is a burnt smell.
●There are other abnormalities or faults.
Discontinue usage and remove the power plug from the electrical outlet.
Make sure to contact the outlet store of purchase or Hario customer
services in the event the product does not operate normally.
It is extremely dangerous to disassemble or repair the product yourself.
Please refrain from doing so.
●The halogen bulb's performance deteriorates with usage over an
extended period of time. The bulb's filament may also burn out, or the
socket may become damaged depending on usage conditions. When
checking for damage, please unplug the machine from any electrical outlets.
Please contact the outlet store or Hario customer services to purchase a
halogen bulb. ( Specified lamp: Socket E-11 110V 350W ( BGST-350U ) /
220V400W ( BGST-400K,BGST-400C )/ 230V400W (BGST-400E))
Warning
・ Is the power plug firmly inserted into
・ Is the power button ON?
・ Has the filament of the halogen bulb
・ Has the halogen bulb been set
・ Has the hot water for the syphon
Replacing the halogen lamp
Do not use a halogen lamp other than that specified by Hario.
Doing so may cause fire.
