8. Maintenance and cleaning

Warning
Maintenance work must be carried out by qualified per-
sonnel.
The maintenance intervals will vary depending on the loca-
tion of the building and the type of use.
In the first year of use, we therefore recommend that a
random inspection of the amount of dirt on the filters is
carried out every quarter.
Regular maintenace should be carried out every six
months or according to the filter change display (if availa-
ble).
We recommend adhering to the regular maintenace sche-
dule in the enclosed maintenance log (8.6).
Simple maintenance work, such as visually inspecting and
changing the outgoing air and incoming air filters, can be
conducted by personnel who are familiar with these opera-
ting and installation instructions.
Futher maintenance work, as well as work on the electrical
and mechanical appliances of the device must be con-
ducted by personnel with the relevant training.

8.1 Changing the outgoing air filter

Warning
Switch off the device before changing the filter.
Electricity can cause severe injury or even death.
Schüco VentoTherm does not need to be dismantled to
change the outgoing air filter.
1.
Remove the cover from Schüco VentoTherm. Pull it
forwards.
2.
Remove the outgoing air filter mat from the velcro strip.
3.
Attach the new filter mat to the velcro strip.
4.
Push the cover back onto the device.
