PRECAUTIONS
To maintain good performance
Do not use the unit in places which are extremely hot, cold, dusty or humid.
In particular, do not keep the unit:
in a high humidity area such as a bathroom
near a heater
in an area exposed to direct sunlight (inside a parked car, where there
could be a considerable rise in temperature)
Note on
listening with the headphones
Listen at moderate volumes to avoid hearing damage.
Do not wear the headphones while driving or cycling. It may create a
traffic hazard.
You should use extreme caution or temporarily discontinue use in
potentially hazardous situations, such as walking, jogging, etc..
Wear them properly: L is left, R is right.
Cassette tapes
Check and tighten slack tape before use with a pencil or similar tool as
illustrated. Slack tape may break or get jammed in the mechanism.
C-100 or longer tapes are extremely.thin and easily deformed or dam-
aged. They are not recommended for use in this unit.
To
use with the belt clip
TO INSERT DRY CELL BATTERIES
Replace the batteries when the tape speed slows down, volume decreases
or sound distorts.

If the cover of the battery compa~ment comes off
Note on dry cell batteries
Make sure that the 0 and 0 marks are correctly aligned,
Do not mix different types of batteries, or an old battery with a new one,
Never recharge the batteries, apply heat to them or take them apart.
When not using the batteries, remove them to prevent needless wear.

Debetener muchocuidadoo dejarde utilizartemporalmenteen situaciones
potencialmentepeligrosas, por ejemplo mientras camina, corre, etc.
Util[celos correctamente: L es izquierdo y R es derecho.
Cintas de casete
Verifique y tense Ias cintas flojas antes de utilizarlas, con un Mpiz o
herramienta similar, tal como aparece en la figura. Una cinta floja puede
romperse o atascarse en el mecanismo.
Las cintas C-100 o de mayor Iongitudson muy finas y pueden deformarse
o darlarse f~cilmente, Nose recomienda su uso en este aparato,
PARA COLOCAR PILAS
Cambie Ias pilas cuando la cinta se mueva Ientamente, el volumen se
vuelva bajo o se distorsiona el sonido.

casser ou s'enrouler clans Ie m6canisme.
Les bandes des cassettes C-100 ou plus sent tr%sfines et se d6forment
ou s'endommagent facilement, Lemploi de telles cassettes n'est pas
recommand6.
Utilisation avec une pince de celnture
