Lubrication & Maintenance
All maintenance shall be carried out by a competent operator after disconnecting the PTO from the
tractor.
An adequate lubrication and the use o suitable lubricants are both essential for the long life and
correct operation of the machine. (Use 90W oil)
Make sure all screws and bolts have been tightened, and the bolts are in the correct position after
the first 4 hours' operation and regularly there after..
Make sure all safety guards and devices are in place and working.
Check the level of the lubricating oil in the gearbox. (Use 90W oil, fil up to 50% of the box)
Check the distance of the two halves of the PTO (they shall overlap of at least 1/3 of their length).
This shall be checked every time you change tractor. Grease PTO & end bearings regularly.
Remove covers to
access GearBox
50%
Check the level of the lubricating oil in the gearbox.
(Use 90W oil, fil up to 50% of the box)
