BASIC FUNCTIONS

4.1

Switching the appliance on and to the standby mode

to standby mode. The standby mode indicator (3) lights up red. Note that appliance is
powered as long as it is connected to the electrical outlet.
To completely switch off the appliance, disconnect the power plug (18) from the
electrical outlet.
Note: If no function of the appliance is used for 13-16 minutes, the unit automatically
switches into the standby mode (exception: radio mode).

Setting volume level

Press
to increase or decrease the volume level. The volume can be set in levels between 0 and
30. The display (2) shows
Press MUTE (22) on the remote control to mute the audio.

Using the EQ (equalizer)

During playback repeatedly press the EQ (37) key to select different equalizer mode.

RADIO OPERATION

5.1

Antenna

The appliance is equipped with a FM antenna (17), located at the back of the appliance.
Unroll the antenna to achieve the best reception.
5.2

Switching the radio on and off

Press
Press repeatedly SOURCE (8, 31) on the main unit or on the remote control to select FM
radio operation mode. FM indicator lights up and current frequency appears on the LED
display (2).
Switching the radio off: Press repeatedly SOURCE (8, 31) on the main unit or on the
remote control to set the appliance to a different audio mode (CD, USB or LINE IN) or
press
