Switching On/Off

Hold down the safety switch 2.
Note: The tool will not work
with an unlocked handle.
Cutting techniques

Hold the hedge trimmer at an
angle of 5°–10° to the hedge.
Cut the hedge from bottom to
top, sides first.
Adjusting rear handle
1
Push the release button 7 back-
wards (1.) to rotate the rear
handle 10 (2.). Ensure that it is
locked.
State of charge
1
Press the button on the battery
to check the state of charge at
the state of charge indicator
LEDs.
Warning! Hold the hedge trimmer firmly with both hands! Ensure that
the cutting bar does not touch any objects or the ground and that
there are no people or animals in the vicinity before starting! Risk of
injury!

(1.) Press and hold the switch
interlock 8. (2.) Press the switch
9 and release the switch inter-
lock 8.

Cut the top in an oscillating
movement, advancing slowly.
Note: The rear handle 10 can
not be rotated while the tool is
running.
Note: Prior to initial operation,
charge the batteries fully.
