My carrier aura aircon stop without a timer set
Your Carrier Aura air conditioner may have stopped working because the run hour counter has reached zero balance. When this happens, the dot after the first digit will blink continuously as an alarm, and the unit will be locked out. 1. Press and hold the RUN-H button on the remote handset for 3 seconds.
2. The LED screen will show the target setting and ‘rd’ (Run Hour deactivated).
3. Wait for the display to return to normal.
4. Press the RUN-H button again for 3 seconds until ‘rd’ reappears.
5. Immediately press the Mode button on the unit display board.
6. Wait until the unit displays ‘rA’, which confirms the setting.
Follow the same steps to deactivate the Run Hour function if you do not want to use it. Make sure the unit is unplugged when servicing.
