    IO-Link master (IO-Link revision 1.0 and 1.1) • 2 IO-Link Ports Class A to connect IO-Link devices. The IO-Link ports of the AIK050 meet the requirements of the IO-Link specifications 1.0 to 1.1.2. The AIK050 offers no function to configure the connected IO-Link devices.

    SIM card 59401 Transfer of data from the AIK050 to the ifm.cloud takes place via an integrated SIM card (eSIM). The customer is neither entitled to remove the integrated SIM card from the device, to sell the chip card itself, to act as a provider of telecommunication services nor to offer mobile radio services, switching or interconnection services to third parties.

As soon as an IO-Link device is connected to an IO-Link port, the AIK050 sends for five minutes in the transmission interval variant L (1x / 10 seconds) to facilitate the set-up of the IO-Link devices.

  • Page 25 > 59428 The mobile access point (APN) defines the way how the AIK050 connects to the mobile radio network. The AIK050 connects itself via the APN with the M2M/IoT application in the ifm cloud. Each AIK050 receives a dedicated private IP address from the mobile operator network.

    14.5.1 System components 59438 All servers and system components required for the operation of the infrastructure of the AIK050 data transmission and ifm cloud are operated in a technically and organisationally secure, high-performance computer network. The latter is protected by a firewall system against attacks and unauthorised access from the Internet.

    The minimum availability is usually 99.0% of the annual average for the ifm cloud, in combination with the mobile radio services at AIK050. The stated availability is subject to external disturbances or failures of the mobile network, maintenance work and force majeure.
