This guide tells you how to install and configure

the AHA -2840A/2842A SCSI host adapters. With
the exception of the AHA-2842A floppy drive con-
troller, the installation procedure is the same for
both host adapter models. (See Controlling Floppy
Drives on page 3.)
Here is an overview of host adapter installation:

Insert the host adapter in a VL-Bus
computer.

Connect SCSI cables and SCSI peripherals.
3 Terminate the SCSI bus.

Adjust host adapter configuration, if necessary,
by setting switches and running the SCSISelect
utility.

Load software, if necessary.
The following sections explain each installation step.
