CONNECTING TO POWER SUPPLY
See Figure 7.
This chain saw is designed with a cord retainer
that prevents the extension cord from being pulled

NOTICE:
Always secure extension cord to unit by using
cord retainer. Failure to use cord retainer may
result in damage to the unit and/or extension
cord.
 Form a loop with the end of the extension cord.
 Insert loop portion of extension cord through
the opening in the side of the rear handle and
place over cord hitch.
 Slowly pull loop against cord retainer until the
slack is removed.
 Plug chain saw into extension cord.
NOTE: Failure to remove all excess cord slack
from extension cord retainer could result in plug
loosening from receptacle.
WARNING:
Always make sure the tool is unplugged from
the power supply when you are assembling
parts, making adjustments, cleaning, carrying,
transporting or when not in use. Disconnecting
the power supply from the tool will prevent

personal injury.
