PCB interface and dip switch settings
The PCB interface and dip switch settings
must only be changed by a licensed gasfitter.
They have been provided as there may be
a requirement to change the temperature of
the water delivered from the water heater
of change the dip switch settings if fitting a
sideways flue diverter.
Care must be taken when changing the
temperature or dip switch settings as
WARNING
they can be easily switched or bumped
into the wrong position. Fully check the
operation of the water heater before
leaving including the temperature of the
water delivered.
The cover of the water heater will need to be
removed to carry out this operation. As this
will expose live mains voltage wiring please
disconnect the power supply before
removing the front cover.
We wish to draw your attention to the
requirements of the New Zealand Building
Code and compliance document G12. This
requires that water delivered to sanitary
fixtures be no more than 55 °C. Increasing the
water heater set temperature will require that
you protect all sanitary fixtures to which the
appliance is plumbed with suitable tempering
valves or something similar.
Rinnai will accept no liability for issues arising
out of the use of this information.
