Dear customer,
We are delighted that you have decided to purchase our
alcohol tester. Before using the device for the fi rst time,
please carefully read through the instructions and store
them in a safe place. These instructions are to accompany
the device when it is passed on to others. The manufacturer
and importer assume no liability in the event the data in
these instructions have not been observed! As part of
ongoing development, we reserve the right to alter products,
packaging or enclosed documentation at any time. If you

Proper use
The device measures the approximate concentration of alco-
hol in your breath and calculates the approximate concentra-
tion of alcohol in your blood. No guarantee is offered for any
of the measurements taken with this device.
The device is designed for private, not for commercial use.
Only use the device for the intended purpose and only as
described in the instructions. Any other use is deemed im-
proper.
Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or at-
tempts at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also
applies to normal wear and tear.
Safety notes
The alcohol tester cannot be used with binding legal
effect to determine whether a person, after consuming
alcohol, is able to drive a vehicle, operate a machine
or perform any other action posing a risk to oneself or
other persons under the infl uence of alcohol. Improper
handling or manipulation of the device may cause it to
display lower alcohol levels! Please keep in mind that
the consumption of alcohol always impairs your re-
sponsiveness and judgement.
Legal provisions for road traffi c in your respective country of
residence must be observed and complied with. However,
we wish to expressly point out that the measurements dis-
played by the alcohol tester offer no indication as to whether
the blood alcohol level of the user is within the legally pre-
scribed blood alcohol limits for road traffi c.
Do not blow cigarette smoke onto the sensor.
Batteries may be life threatening if swallowed. Therefore
keep the batteries and products out of the reach of children
and animals. If a battery has been swallowed, you must seek
immediate medical attention.
Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts in
the battery compartment and on the batteries are clean and,
if necessary, clean them.
Only use the battery type specifi ed in the technical data (see
chapter "Technical data").
Always replace all batteries. Do not use different battery
types, brands or batteries of different capacitances. When
changing batteries ensure correct polarity (+/-).
Remove the batteries from the battery compartment if they
are empty or if you are not using the product. This way, you
can avoid damages attributed to leaking.
If a battery has leaked, avoid contact between your skin, eyes
and mucous membranes and the battery acid. In the event of
contact with battery acid, rinse the affected areas with clean
water and immediately consult a physician.

Immediately remove any leaking batteries from the battery
compartment. Clean the contacts before you insert a new
battery.
The batteries may not be charged or reactivated with other
means and they may not be disassembled, thrown in a fi re,
submerged in a liquid or short-circuited.
Do not allow the product to fall and do not subject it to severe
percussions.
Keep away from fi re and heat sources.
Ensure that the product cannot get wet or fall in water or other
liquids.
If the product is defective, do not attempt to repair it your-
self. In the event of damage, contact the customer service
department.
Use a dry cloth to clean the sensor / device every time after
use.
Do not use any chemicals or aggressive cleaners to clean
the device.
Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, direct
sunlight, severe temperature fl uctuations or excessive
moisture.
Stow the device in an area that is out of the sun and cold.
Store the device out of the reach of children and pets.
Product overview and product contents
Before fi rst use
Unpack all parts and make sure that the product contents
are complete (see "Product contents") and check for any
damages from transport. If you identify damages to the
components, do not use them (!), instead contact our cus-
tomer service centre.
Insert the enclosed batteries in the device (see section
"Changing the batteries").
Optional: Attach the hand strap to the loop on the top part
of the device.

4. Close the battery compartment by pushing the battery
compartment cover onto the battery compartment.

1. Open the battery compartment on
the back side by pushing it open.
2. Remove empty batteries and dis-
pose of them in an environmental-
ly-friendly manner.
3. Insert two 1.5 V batteries (type
AAA) in the battery compartment.
Make sure the polarity (+/-) is cor-
rect.
