Caution
Exceeding the gross vehicle weight rating of your vehicle can result in loss of vehicle control, collision or
other accident, serious personal injury and even death.

Exceeding the weight limit for your vehicle prevents proper vehicle operation and increases the risk
of losing control of the vehicle.

The brakes of the overloaded vehicle may not stop the vehicle at a safe distance.

Tyres of the overloaded vehicle may suddenly fail, including flat tyres, air leakage, loss of control
and accident.

Always make sure that the total weight of the carrying bars, carrying bar accessories and load does
not exceed the roof load of 100 kg.

Never exceed the maximum permissible roof load.

Roof load must be included in any calculation of the total load allowed for your vehicle. Never
exceed the gross vehicle weight, which is the total weight of the vehicle, including driver,
passengers, luggage, roof rack, roof load, trailer hitch and drawbar load of the loaded trailer.

Information on total vehicle weight can be found on the information plate for filling pressure and
in your vehicle manual.

The carriers are Volkswagen City Crash Plus tested and approved.

7. Care instructions

Always keep the support bars clean and well maintained. Especially in winter, dirt and salt should be removed
regularly to avoid damage.
8. Enviromental information
Often the supporting bars with/without body parts remain on the vehicle for convenience, even when they are
not needed. The increased air resistance unnecessarily increases the fuel consumption of your vehicle and causes
additional noise. Therefore, remove supporting bars and all body parts if they are not needed.
