  • Page 5 Safe Operation Practices A. General Information 1. Read, understand and follow all instructions on the mower and in the manual(s) before attempting to assemble and operate. Keep this manual in a safe place for future and regular reference and for ordering replacement parts. 2.

  • Page 29 SLOPES Slopes along the edge To ensure your mower doesn’t slip off the lawn, especially when the grass is wet, the Perimeter Wire must exclude a slope along the edge of your lawn with an incline of over 20% - that is, 20 cm rise per 1 m [8 in rise per 3 ft].
  • Page 30 Lay the Wire Lay the perimeter wire (“virtual boundary”), which defines the working area for the mower. Now you’re ready to install the Perimeter Wire. Let’s take it step by step. • Have your mower’s package nearby. • Be sure to cut your grass with your old mower one last time before you start wiring.
  • Page 31 Let’s make a good start Pull out approx. 50 cm (1.6 ft) of wire and peg the beginning of the wire to the ground where you intend to install your Base Station. 50cm Start unwinding the wire counter-clockwise around the lawn, starting at the Base Station’s location.
