GENERAL PRESENTATION 1/ Overview of the buttons The arrows allow you to navigate in the different menus. - Page 9 e/ Capacity Battery capacity: 0-18h Storage capacity: from 0 to 361 hours (depends of sample rate) Sample rate: 1 point each second to1 point every 10 seconds By default : 1 point every 2 seconds Sample rate aims at recording the coordinates during your practise at regular time intervals.
- Page 10 g/ Heart Rate Belt Pairing (KEYMAZE 700 only) To receive the signal of the belt, you must install it on the chest by moistening well the sensors. If it was not recognized after several attempts of repositioning, try to pair it again by using this mode. Each heart rate belt has a unique identification number, that can not be changed.

FREE ROUTE 1/ Session Set up There are two GPS function modes that are built in to the KEYMAZE: the Free route and the Guided route. The first mode allows the user to practise his sport freely and record the session with the GEONAUTE SOFTWARE and analyse the route, the information (speed, altitude, ascent/descent...) or even the heart rate (KM700) There are several steps you have to go through to... - Page 12 HR ZONE : (KEYMAZE 700 only) : You can set an alert, if your heart rate is higher or lower than a preset rate. Consequently, you can monitor your effort levels as you exercise. SPEED ZONE : Selecting "speed" zones allows you to monitor 3 types of speed: horizontal speeds (typically the speed of progress) and vertical speeds (ascending and descending speed (in m/hr)).
- Page 13 2/ Starting my session After searching for the signal, the exercise screens open up straight away and the, KEYMAZE is then ready (flashing triangle at the bottom of the screen). To start the exercise, press start. You can pause the session while it is running by pressing the start/stop button.
- Page 14 4/ Contextual menu Contextual menu is available by pressing “star” button during your exercise Quit/Save Only appears if the session has been paused. Select quit and save to finish the session. Mark a POI Allows you to save the coordinates of a point of interest. You will be prompted to enter a category and a name.

Page 18: Sample Rate
SAMPLE RATE Sampling sets the frequency with which the KEYMAZE records information. The shorter the sampling time, the more accurate the data will be and, consequently, the shorter the recording time will be. - Page 20 Map view This view indicates your position, your planned route, your current path as well as the distance between you and the next point and the heading you need to take after this point. You can zoom in and out using the UP AND DOWN ARROWS. When you are on the planned route: the guiding is similar to a GPS in a car, it will indicate the heading you need to take at the next point.
- Page 21 Go Back This mode allows you to return to your start point. You can select a route that you have already done (turn around) or be guided along a direct route.
