Voicemail service

Voicemail is an answering service that may be
offered by your phone service provider. This
service can also record calls when you are
unavailable to answer the phone or when your
line is busy. Messages are recorded on the
phone company system.When you have new
messages, "MSG Waiting" is displayed if
message indication service is available.

Troubleshooting

If you still have difficulties after following the instructions in this section, disconnect the base unit's
AC adaptor, then reconnect the base unit's AC adaptor.

Please contact your phone service provider for
details of this service.
To listen to your voice mail messages, you
have to dial your voice mail access number
manually.
Note:
R If "MSG Waiting" is still displayed even
after you have listened to new messages,
turn it off by pressing and holding # for 2
seconds.
Cause/solution
R Check the connections (page 7).
R Unplug the base unit's AC adaptor to reset the unit.
Reconnect the adaptor and try again.
R The base unit's AC adaptor or telephone line cord is not
connected. Check the connections.
R Disconnect the base unit from the telephone line and
connect the line to a known working telephone. If the
working telephone operates properly, contact our
service personnel to have the unit repaired. If the
working telephone does not operate properly, contact
your phone service provider.
R The handset has not been registered to the base unit.
Register the handset (page 8).

R Battery charge is low. Fully charge the battery (page 7).
