• Cutting height too low.
• When Mulching, piles of
grass are left behind the
mower.
• Grass is wet
• Cutting blades are dull
or blunt.
• Rear discharge chute is
blocked.
• Gearbox is engaged.
• Gear box not engaged.

• Increase the cutting height using
the height adjustment lever (23).
• Lift the height of the cutting depth
by one notch using the height
adjustment lever (23).
• Allow the grass to dry before
mowing.
• Replace the blades with new /
sharp blades.
• Stop mower and clear the rear
discharge chute.
• Release the self propelled en-
gage/disengage bar (2).
• Fully lift self propelled engage/dis-
engage bar (2) against the upper
handle (1).
