Commands
NOTE: Background noise may affect CoPilot's ability to recognize spoken commands.
You can use an external microphone with noise-cancellation technology to optimize your
experience with CoPilot's listening device.
COMMAND
Go to sleep/Wake up
Driver
Passenger
Destination
Itinerary
Detour/Cancel Detour
CoPilot not only speaks to you to inform you of
upcoming turns, but also responds to a number of
commands you speak out loud. The Commands
button in the Options window opens a list of these
commands (note that this is a scroll list, not a
pick list).
NOTE: For CoPilot to listen and respond, the
Listening button must be toggled on in the lower
right corner of the Guidance screen.
RESPONSE
Either causes CoPilot to enter Sleep mode, or awaken from it.
Switches to the Driver Safety screen.
Switches to the Passenger screen.
A window opens that contains CoPilot's destination entry
options so that you can add a stop or enter a new destination.
Brings up the Itinerary (driving directions). In this screen you
can tell CoPilot to avoid a specific road if you wish to.
CoPilot automatically calculates an alternate route, or returns
you to the original route after a detour has been generated.
