Fuse Testing for MM 1000/2000, MM 1300/2300, MM 6000 Only
Blown Fuses are not covered under the warranty. See below for fuse testing instructions.
FUSE TESTING
MM 1000/2000
To test the mAµA fuse (FLU 44/100A):
1.
Select the diode test function
2.
Attach black lead to VΩ input
3.
Attach red lead to mAµA input
4.
Touch leads together
5.
"OL" on the screen indicates blown fuse
To test the A fuse (FLU 11A):
1.
Select the diode test function
2.
Attach black lead to VΩ input
3.
Attach red lead to A input
4.
"OL" on the screen indicates blown fuse
FUSE TESTING
MM 1300/2300/6000
To test the mAµA fuse (FLU 44/100A):
1.
Select the µA function
2.
Screen will display "LEAD"
3.
Attach red lead to mAµA input
4.
If screen continues to display "LEAD", the fuse may be defective
To test the A fuse (FLU 11A):
1.
Select the mA A function
2.
Screen will display "LEAD"
3.
Attach red lead to A input
4.
If screen continues to display "LEAD", the fuse may be defective
