Bose Solo 5 TV sound system

Make sure nothing is blocking the front of the system so the remote has a clear line of
sight to the system

Make sure that excessive light is not shining on the system display. This can interfere
with the remote control

Move closer to the system. The remote works best within about 6 metres (20 feet)

Reset the system by unplugging its power cord for a minute

Replace the remote batteries. Make sure you match + to + and - to - when inserting the
new batteries
Speaker will not turn on

If your speaker will not turn on, try the following to resolve your issue:

Make sure that your speaker is connected to a working AC (mains) socket. Try a different
socket to be sure

If you are using a surge protector, try plugging directly into a working wall socket

Make sure both ends of the power cable are firmly connected

Replace the batteries in the remote control. To make sure the remote is working, try
controlling other devices you may have also programmed to the remote control

Unplug the power cable and wait for 60 seconds. Then plug it back in and try to turn the
speaker on again
