These instructions assume you are carrying out a Typical
setup.
Typical (recommended) — installs the server configura-

tion utility, network configuration utility, desktop links
for help files and installs or upgrades Internet Explorer
and Outlook Express (or Netscape Communicator and
Netscape Messenger).
Custom — allows you to select which of the above

components are installed.
Click Next to move to the Select Program Folder screen

when you have made your selection. If you select Cus-
tom, you are prompted to select the components you
want to install.
The Select Program Folder screen prompts you to select a

location for the Internet Server program folder on the
Windows Start Menu.
The default is a new Program Folder 3Com IS Client Util-
ity. If you want to install the icons into an existing folder,
select the folder from the list box.
Click Next to move to the Setup Status screen.
