GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT:
Please read these instructions thoroughly and carefully before operation. These instructions will provide
you with important information regarding the operation, warnings, and safety cautions.
DANGER
Risk of electric shock. Do not use on live electrical circuits. Electrical shock can cause injury.
Plastic handle is not fully insulated.
WARNING
1. For safety, do not exceed permitted maximum torque value. Over-torquing can cause
breakage.
2. Force against flex stops on flex head can cause head breakage. Broken hand tools, sockets or
accessories can cause injury. Excess force can cause crowfoot or flare nut wrench slippage.
3. Wrench user and bystanders should wear safety goggles.
4. Be sure all components including adaptors, extensions, drivers and sockets are rated to match
or exceed torque being applied.
5. Observe equipment, system and manufacturer's warnings, cautions and procedures
when using this wrench.
6. Do not use wrench near center of strong disturbance, strong magnetic field, or
strong corrosive gas or liquid.Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
7. Never remove batteries with wet or bare hands.
CAUTION
1. If wrench is used without observing information given under this symbol, minor personal injury
or damage to the product may result.
2. For accuracy, periodic recalibration is necessary to maintain accuracy.
3. Verify calibration if you know or suspect its capacity has been exceeded.
4. Verify calibration if wrench has been dropped.
5. Ensure wrench capacity matches or exceeds each application before proceeding.
6. Do not drop or throw wrench. Avoid excessive bump or shock.
7. Do not press or damage the LCD display.
8. To avoid damaging wrench, NEVER apply force when power is off. Always turn torque wrench
ON before using it.
9. Do not press power key to turn wrench off while torque is applied.
10. Always PULL (Do not push) on wrench handle. Adjust your stance to prevent a possible fall
should something give.
11. Never hold or operate wrench with wet hands.
