Procedure 9: Attaching cables to the Analog Voice Module
If your site requires an E&M connection for channel 1, use a modular RJ-1CX

both 2-wire and 4-wire cables are shown in Figure 4-7.
If your site requires an FXS or FXO connection for channel 1, use a modular

RJ11 cable to connect the Passport 4400 unit to a telephone set or wall jack.
Connect Channel 2 (dual channel model only) using either step 1 or step 2,
