4 Lift the computer off of the port replicator.

Securing your computer and port replicator

The security lock slot enables you to connect a security cable (not
provided) to help prevent unauthorized removal of the port
replicator. When a security cable is properly attached to the port
replicator and the computer lock switch is set to the locked position,
the Eject lever cannot be operated. This helps prevent unauthorized
removal of your computer from the port replicator.
There are two positions for the computer lock.
Back: You can disconnect the computer from the port replicator.
Forward: You cannot disconnect the computer from the port
replicator.

Follow these steps to secure your computer and port replicator:
1 Attach your security cable (purchased separately) to a desk or
other large object, following the instructions included with
your security cable.
